The municipality of Pontresina (GR, Switzerland) decided to make a canyon located in the center of the settlement more experiential by architectural means.
For this, an idea competition was announced in the spring of 2020. The main goals set out in the call for proposals are the creation of a walking path, the creation of place(s) to sit on a bench and lookout point(s), the integration of the numerous arched stone bridges into the project, in addition to the undisturbed nature of the wildlife and the undisturbed ice formation.
